Baden's Birthday

We are getting more settled into our new house. Last Saturday we painted the living room green and the kitchen yellow while we listened to General Conference. We really like our new ward. Baden has been called as the ward mission leader, which he is very excited about. Baden had a nice birthday. We went to Clinkerdagger's restuarant downtown with his family- the food was awesome! I gave him the only thing he ever wants - books, as well as a picture of Eliza. I am still working to finish up my English degree by the end of the year. I am currently taking a 20th century Russian class and a Cooking class online from BYU. They are a lot of fun! We are also involved in a colloquium (book club) with Marjorie and Mike Godek (Baden's sister and brother-in law). The next book we are reading is The Great Gatsby, which is one of my personal favourites. Last month we read Jane Eyre and The Lonesome Gods by Louis L'amour. We usually write papers for the colloquium and share them. We have really enjoyed it.
