The Swamp tour was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Beautiful Place.

Generally Henry Struggled with being in his car seat so much!

Handsome man Will

We spent a couple days in Baton Rouge! Went to the Zoo.

Saw big alligators. 

                                                                       Buffalo too!

Will loved seeing the Giant Turtles! 

Spent Saturday morning in downtown Baton Rouge.

They were having a music fest party with lots of live music.

Will could not help himself. 

We found a big hill to roll down.

This was the old state capitol building for Louisiana. Mary said that Mark Twain said it was the ugliest building east of the Mississippi. 

They had a big slide. 

In total we hit seven states for this trip: Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri.

We went to the Clinton Presidential Library.

We had a fun trip overall. One of our other favorite parts of the trip was eating the hotel breakfasts. The kids loved the waffle machine every morning. I liked the fruit loops. Will likes fruit loops also. Mary liked not doing the dishes for a week. It was so awesome to have Shayla with us for the whole trip. She was so helpful and kind in helping the kids. We will have to bring her with us in the future!
